Important Dates
Early registration deadline – 1st November 2019
Cancelation: the refund for any cancelled registration will be subject to an administrative overhead fee of USD100 if cancelled by 1st November 2019 (GMT-12). Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations made after that day and time, and would only be issued at the discretion of the conference organizers depending on conference finances. Decisions on any such refunds will only be made after the conference.
Late registration deadline – 15th November 2019
The latest date to register for RTSS 2019 is 15th November. Due to logistical reasons registration may not be possible after that date. If you do not register by 15th November, you may not be able to participate in the conference. Please register early to avoid disappointment. There will be no on-site registration.
IEEE Life Members may if they wish to do so register at the Student IEEE Member rates. Similarly, emeritus participants (retired and not receiving a salary, but still research active) may if they wish to do so register at the student rates for IEEE members or non-members as appropriate.
Note, when registering for the Hot Topics Day, you will be asked to select the workshop or tutorial track that you will participate in. The special sessions follow at the end of the Hot Topics Day, and you can choose on the day which one to go to

We have obtained a special discounted rate for rooms in the conference hotel. The special discount is applied to the rates available on the day that you book and is subject to the normal availability of rooms at the hotel. See the information under the heading “Accommodation” at the end of the Venue page for details. We recommend that you book early.

Note we have a full program which will conclude around 6:00pm on the final day of RTSS 2019. Please plan your travel so that you can attend all of the conference.
Guidance for Authors
- Each accepted conference paper must be supported by the conference registration (full or student) of at least one of its authors.
- Each accepted Brief Presentation and RTSS@work paper must be supported by the conference registration (full or student) of at least one of its authors.
- Each accepted workshop paper or Hot Topics Day (HTD) paper/presentation must be supported by the HTD registration (full or student) of at least one of its authors.
- A single conference registration (full or student) may be used to support at most 2 conference papers and either 1 Brief Presentation or 1 RTSS@Work paper. (A distinct registration is needed for each Brief Presentation and RTSS@Work paper, since they are presented in parallel in the poster session).
- A single Hot Topics Day (HTD) registration (full or student) may be used to support at most 2 HTD papers / presentations.
